PBKACA is excited to “serve” up a special conversation with Jon Vegosen, the 2011-2012 chairman of the board and president of the United States Tennis Association. Learn how the USTA has “reinvented” tennis to become user friendly and attract a whole new generation of players from diverse backgrounds.

Jon will also discuss the development and execution of the USTA business strategy and how the USTA collaborated with industry partners, coaches, players, celebrities, and others to effect this important change. As an added bonus, Jon will share a brief, entertaining 2012 U.S. Open highlights video. You’ll have a chance to ask questions to one of tennis’ most forceful advocates. So bring your A-game and join us!

Jon graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University, where he was the captain of the tennis team his junior and senior years and selected All-Big Ten (1973). After graduating from law school, he clerked for a federal judge and co-founded the law firm Funkhouser Vegosen Liebman & Dunn Ltd.
