Jazz at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra

Join PBKACA members and guests for a night of Jazz at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO). Innovative jazz pianist Jason Moran, musical adviser for jazz at the Kennedy Center, and multifaceted visual artist Theaster Gates, director of arts and public life at the University of Chicago, collaborate on a new CSO commission giving “truth to power.” Stories from Chicago’s many eras illustrate how the power of music and art can unite and transform our city, as envisioned by two of today’s most inventive and brilliant artists.

Our tickets are part of the CSO’s POST series, and include a post-concert reception with CSO musicians and guest artists. Cash bar with drink specials.

Date and Time:Friday, May 30 at 8 p.m.
Location:Symphony Center, 220 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago
